CRACKYL’s founder and publisher gets personal and professional with Chris Macklin at South Metro Fire Rescue

Kory Pearn opens up to Chris Macklin, the health and wellness officer at South Metro Fire Rescue, about fixing a broken heart (both literally and figuratively), becoming a firefighter, moving from working in the publishing industry to founding CRACKYL, to dealing with members who have been sidelined from the job.

“We really don’t know how to engage with these members,” Kory says. “I’m just trying to help firefighters pay attention.”
