Frank J. Ciaccio

Frank J. Ciaccio has proudly served as a firefighter with the East Meadow Fire Department for 46 years, standing as a dedicated member of Engine Co. 2. Over the course of his service, Frank has held numerous positions within the Department and also served a term as Fire Commissioner for the East Meadow Fire District. In 1983, Frank's courage was formally recognized when he was awarded the Nassau County Gold Medal of Valor for rescuing a fellow member of his fire company from a burning commercial structure — a defining moment that speaks to the selfless commitment he has brought to the job throughout his career. Today, Frank continues to give back to the department in a different but equally vital capacity, serving as president of the East Meadow Firefighters Foundation as well as fundraising chairman and corresponding secretary for Engine Co. 2.
