Sometimes, the turning points in our lives don’t arrive with alarms, urgency, or drama. They show up in the routines we tolerate, the workarounds we normalize, and the distance we don’t notice forming until it’s already there. It’s strange how something as small as a disrupted night’s sleep can reveal the bigger truths we’ve been sidestepping.

What I’ve been sitting with lately is how easy it is to treat the practical as separate from the personal, when in reality they’re always intertwined. The small habits we ignore, the signals we brush off, the “temporary fixes” we rely on — they all add up. And eventually, they ask us to pay attention.
