Dr. Gamaliel D. Baer is a firefighter/EMT/special operator with Howard County Fire and Rescue (Maryland). He is a reserve officer for the U.S. Coast Guard, and is an adjunct faculty member at Johns Hopkins University, where he teaches Leading and Managing Change for the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. He lives in Howard County, Md., with his wife and four kids.
