In 2020, I founded The Witches Circle with one simple yet powerful goal: to help people along their spiritual journey through handmade, intentional products — starting with candles. What began as a personal passion evolved into something much bigger than I could have imagined. These candles were never just about ambiance or scent — they were crafted with purpose, ritual, and healing in mind.
My journey into candle making came from a desire to create something meaningful — something that could support others in their spiritual and emotional wellness. I’ve always believed in the power of energy, intention, and community, and I wanted to build a brand that reflected those values.
But The Witches Circle truly found its mission in 2025, when I created the First In, Last Out Hero Candle — a special tribute designed to give back to the brave men and women in the fire service. This project became deeply personal to me after my father, a dedicated firefighter, was diagnosed with workplace-related prostate cancer in 2023.
Watching someone you love go through a devastating illness caused by a job meant to protect others changes your perspective entirely. My father’s diagnosis opened my eyes to the quiet battles many firefighters and their families endure every day — battles that are often unseen and underrepresented. These heroes face long-term health risks, including cancers linked to toxic exposure on the job, yet the public rarely hears about it.
That’s why for every First In, Last Out Hero Candle sold, $10 is donated directly to the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) to fund cancer research and support initiatives for affected firefighters and their families. It’s more than a donation — it’s a promise to their service and to stand with them in the fight for awareness and better workplace protections.
I’ve been making these candles since July 2025, and it’s been a humbling experience to see how much support and love the initiative has received. What keeps me going — what drives me every single day — is the hope that another family won’t have to experience the fear, grief, and helplessness that ours did. My goal isn’t just to raise funds, but to spark conversations, spread awareness, and advocate for real change in how we protect those who risk their lives for us.
The Witches Circle is about community, healing, and resilience. Whether you’re lighting a candle for meditation, protection, remembrance, or simply to create a moment of peace, know that you’re also helping to light the way for others.
