Get your shoulders and upper body workout-ready with the Dynamic Arm Pull. This warm-up exercise is all about opening up your chest, getting your shoulder blades moving, and priming your upper body for action. Whether you’re gearing up for a shift or hitting a training session, this warm-up helps reinforce good posture and joint mobility – key for everything from hauling gear to handling tools. Keep it controlled at first, then pick up the pace once you’re feeling loose. Let’s get into it.
Dynamic Arm Pull Instructions
- Stand tall with your arms at your sides and feet slightly wider than hip-width apart
- Cross your arms in front with your elbows at 90 degrees, allowing shoulder blades to come forward
- Pull your arms back with elbows at 90 degrees, pinching your shoulder blades together as you open up your chest
- Maintain a slow tempo through your full range of motion for 30 seconds
- Increase tempo to create a more dynamic movement for another 30 seconds
- Keep your torso stable while anchoring into the ground with your feet
